Rahu &
Ketu – The lunar nodes
Rahu creates
smoke, has a dark body, resides in forests and engenders fear; he is airy
(vata) in constitution. Ketu is similar to Rahu.

Rahu and
Ketu are going to change their sign from Leo-Aquarius to Cancer – Capricorn sign
on 18th August’2017 and will stay here till 07th March’2019.
In Vedic
astrology, the north node or Dragon’s head is called Rahu and south node or
Dragon’s tail is known as Ketu. Rahu is the point at which the Moon crosses the
ecliptic to the North; Ketu the descending node crosses to the South. So the
effect of Rahu are expanding and Ketu’s in contracting. Therefore Rahu is
considered as greater malefic and act like Saturn. Ketu, the lesser malefic
works like Mars.
Rahu
indicates illusion, hallucination, insanity, neurological disorders while Ketu
creates anger, self -doubt, critical and narrow vision in life. As Rahu and
Ketu do not possess their own sign, they give effects of conjunct planet or
sign placed in.
On positive
side, Rahu gives worldly powers, name, fame and success but person will be
going through inner turmoil. Ketu gives perception, liberation, wisdom and
psychic sensitivity. As the two nodes are always opposite each other, usually
when one is strong or weak, so is the other.

Aries – Rahu- Ketu will transit from house of
family happiness and career. You need to learn to balance family life and
career. Both depends on each other. You might be stuck in past (may be in
relationship). This makes it difficult for you to express your-self in outer
world. It is a time to accept what you had done in past and move forward in
future with new zeal. You will get good opportunity in career in January – August’2018.
Taurus – The axis of Rahu- Ketu will unfold
your past karmas. Rahu will give you ambition, courage, desire to create unique
things, will give interest to learn new subjects and adventure. On the opposite
side Ketu will pull you towards spiritual energies, enlightenment and philosophy.
There will be conflict between materialistic and spiritual desires. There will
be conflict with father and at work place difference of thoughts can be seen

Gemini - The transit of Rahu – Ketu will bring
many challenges in life as well as can give ancestral property or sudden
